Wembley Stadium £750 million????

Post here if you would rather not see £750 million of UK tax payers money wasted on a stadium no better than that of Sporting Lisbon which only cost £75 million.

Its an outright disgrace if you ask me. How come everyone else can build stadiums that cost a fraction of the cost that the UK government builds them at.

No the government footed a large porportion of the bill to build the stadium. At the end of the day it still comes down to why a stadium here costs £750 million and a similar stadium only costs £75 million in Portugal. is it really necessary to grow the stadium grass outside and then slide it in for matches??

lol - we can stay on topic if we say "Wouldnt it be nice to hear that song played at the new Wembley stadium" haha. The radio station was CityBeat 96.7FM in Belfast, Ireland. It palys Oldies and retro tunes between 10and12 on some days.

I very much doubt City Beat could transmit to north Poland, it hardly reaches the south of Ireland. However, ill look into finding where their website is as you can listen to live radio from there!
