Real betis ended up drawing a game they really shouldve won. JoaquÃn Sánchez RodrÃguez should have scored atleast two. But it was a promising performance by them. Assunçao scored the equilizer for us. What a strike it was too. Does someone know why Denilson is now playing as number 11 instead of his normal last season number 16? Im confused. Anyone know why?

I switched to the Chelsea game live in the 87th minute, and everything looked all set for a draw, so I switched back to what I was watching before. Caught the result a couple of minutes later ...

I agree with the Danny Mills opinion. I wasnt sure why Boro did have Junihio on from the start. He's an obvious goal scorer.

er being in the great land of oz at the moment im missing sll the football news and stuff get bits and bobs etc..but what is the story with the middlesborough players and the rape of some football groupie in the dark with that one....havent watched a man utd game for nearly a month getting withdraw symptons bloody stuchgartt

It actually leeds that the affair is over and Jody Morris has been suspended while the police investigate the matter.

There's that other rape incident that took place in London, but it's best not to talk about it in a public forum, since you may be libel for slander.

But I think everyone already knows which players were involved though ...

There is also Rio Ferdinand's drug scandal, which could see a serious ban being handed out (probably unjustified, but the story is too high profile for the FA not to do anything about it).

And we'll soon find out what penalties are going to be handed out for the ManU-Arsenal fracas.

Sol Campbell got off with a £20,000 fine for the kick at Eric Djemba Djemba. Thats not bad for Arsenal, quite a good outcome actually.

Yeah, the other case about the rape is one we cant really emntion as yet. As soon as the papers release names we can talk about it i guess. I think we all have a fair idea who it is though.

thanxs for the info lads get a paper out here called british football week which covers nearly everything apart from the tabloid type stuff...come on england game starts at 01:30 sunday morning over here costing me $25 bucks just to see it a few pubs are staying open etc..with the ireland game showing as well..ps watching England v's Georgia in perth ticket's only cost $50 im not a rugby type person but as im over here it would be silly not to eh?

Well, it ended up being 0-0 in the England match, a good performance by England considering the predicament they were in at the Turkish ground. Now, disappointingly, ireland were beaten 2-0 by the Swiss and are not out fo the competition. Man Utd ace Fletcher came on to score for Scotalnd in their 1-0 win to put them through to the play-offs. Im very disappointed with ireland. They have a better quality side than the scots and are rated higher than them. Its disappointing for them to lose and not go through. We deserve better results than taht. However, the Irish will no doubt say, 'we did well in getting this far'. Thats a load of crap. As Roy Keane always says, its not good enough to say we did well getting this far, people should expect more of their team and maybe the team will deliver more.

Anyway, looking forward to the Champions league against Rangers. That should be a good night. I bought a ticket from my mate for £80 and just sold it for £400 on ebay. He feels stupid now LOL. Im going to try to get a ticket for the Home match against them. Im hopefully going to the blackburn game as well.
