Have a go at Jim Carey's "Bruce Almighty". For a comedy
it sure has it's moments. Other than that one must admit
that 2003 has been a poor year for movies. They don't seem
to make'm as they used to. My vote for best flick goes to
Lord of the Rings. I had my hopes set too high for Matrix 2
so now when they are waaaay down there, mabee november
7th can surprise ?? (3:rd is my BD for your info)
BTW how can you like movies and NOT like Jack Nicholson ?
i think that movie will be sooo funny, by looking at the cast.
but the wayan's bros wrote the previous two, but what part do they have in this one, cos i wanted them to write/produce the new one? as they started it all.
Bruce Almighty is a quality film, very funny, but as mentioned, 2003 wasnt the best year for movies. T3 was ok, but not amazing, Matrix Reloaded was overhiped and just ok.
how can you like movies and NOT like Jack Nicholson?
just like that. i dont like him as an actor, person etc. i know he's a great actor and i respect that, i just dont find his performances interesting. the only time he caught my attention was 'the shining'.
there's a need in the fall and the winter of 2k3 for a surprise, 'artistic' movie i think. something without big names, that would sweep all the oscars matrix leaves
Man - Jack Nicholson is a quality actor who fits into loads of different roles. Im looking forward to finally getting to see the end of the LOTR trilogy once and for all - 2 years later. Ive read the books but the film will be great
He is very good. He can adapt to so many different roles and can play good and bad guys, though he does dodgy criminals very well! its actually spelt Steve Buscemi if you are interested. I thought he was excellent in Con Air, Desperado, Fargo, and of course Resevoir Dogs. A great actor.
Steve Buscemi is also very funny his "specific" outlook guarantees some characteristic roles, like in "Mr. Deeds" and all other comedies with him and Sandler.
Steve Buscemi is a great actor. He's not used enough and could really do better with the films he's done in recent times. (one or two exceptions)
I seen "Intermission " last night. An Irish film. Colin Farrell was ok. Accent was a bit so/so. Colm Meaney was great and made the film. My favourite film of the year so far anyway. Should be stateside is a few weeks.

Colm Meaney is a great actor - we dont see enough of him after star trek in the big movies. Kelly McDonald was in that i think - she's pretty nice - did she get her kit off? She did in trainspotting! Hmm...
