Just wanted to give you props for making the off-topic section not count for posts.

I noticed it when i saw my post count was less than 1000 (oh boy) but anyway most other forums (that i visit) also have an off-topic section and it doesnt count for posts, so good job.

I actually didn't realise that post counts would drop to reflect the change (I thought that it would only affects posts after the change was made). It's all good ...

lol - should get rid of post counts completely and just use titles. That way people dont post just to get their count up
