I have been trying to backup Resident Evil: Apocalypse - Region Code 2, 4, 5.

The DVD Decrypter forum gives this information:

I don't want to use DVD Decrypter due to the fact that it works.

Open Disc Mode:

Error code ver 3.2.0.15:

It don't perform the initial analysis - just gives this error:

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Invalid DVD navigation structure

I tried to open up the disc in re-author mode. The problem is that the main movie don't show up - only all the menues and extras.

Error code ver 3.1.7.6:

I can open the DVD and it does the initial analysis. When the main program window in DVD Shrink comes up - it will not show the main movie - only all of the other menues and extras.

So I can't find the main movie when I open up DVD Shrink in open disc mode.

So how can I backup this movie?

I don't want to use:

• DVD Decrypter
• Another DVD backup program

Nope, but backing up to an inexpensive videotape will allow you to overcome your dilemma ;>}

My DVD was labeled: "Region Code 2,4, 5."

Nero will support the introduction of ARccOS in region 4. It's going to be named "ArccOS for BLutaCH".

I think that your disc is made only for region 4 (labeled Region 4).

The version I have is for region 2 buth can be played in a region coded player for region 4 and 5 also.
