Although I know that "jmet" can (and I'm sure, will) speak for himelf, I just thought I'd take a moment, as someone who is proud of the calibre of most postings, most posters and most moderators at these DVD Digest forums, to share the following with you:

Copying someone else's copy of a commercial DVD is ILLEGAL - and discussion of anything related to such activity is against the rules of these forums.

Since the rules of these forums are obviously beyond your comprehension, plus the fact that you've got a nasty little mouth, I'm quite certain that rather than writing off your first post as "newbie ignorance", you will be banned from these forums post haste.

And once again - I can't really understand one thing - how hard is it to read the forum rules before you sign in as a member?

There is even a whole FAQ section dealing with the most common problems - including yours. Even in this forum there is a thread "Read this before you start a new thread...". If you had bothered to do that - you had found the answer to your problem.

Or to be true - your first problem - the second one you clearly stated and showed in this thread - you have to find a solution for elsewhere - this forum is related to DVD issues.

To call a super moderator for 'stupid moderator' is not a bright thing to do. If you had done the same thing to me - you wouldn't get the chance to reply at all.

I would put rule 6 in bold, red, size+2, too. Can this hurt to try?

The odd thing is that even if I have the "to be used for backing up personally owned copies of DVD media..." in my sign - people still answer with - 'I rented this DVD'...

They can't even read whats in the thread and shows up in their faces in pink.

I have already done that - the first registration page shows all 15 rules, and the user has to (at least scroll to the bottom of the page and) click "Agree" before being allowed to fill in the registration form. Most people scroll, not read, unfortunately.
