                It was quite strange. I wanted to watch it because it was Johnny Depp, of course, but I really didn't give it my full attention. I'll have to give it another chance when I can really watch it.

                    has anyone checc'ed out the 'the war of the worlds'? i just finished checc'ing it out it took me 3 day to see it because i keeped falling asleep..n well that should tell you everything..poor tom...

                        I thought War of the Worlds was excelent also. I don't like Tom Cruise but he wasn't doing his usual over the top acting. Maybe it is because of his belief in a really science fiction style religion that motivates his acting in the science fiction genre, whatever the case I would like to see him do more sicence fiction. I think L Ron Hubbard is a nut but he wrote some good science fiction though the movie Battlefield Earth did the book no justice.

                            The scene in WOW when the first alien war machine came out of the ground will always stay with me. That was classic science fiction. Only a big screen does it justice and you have to have the good sound to go with it to realy appreciate these kind of movies, IMHO. I liked the running with the masses perspective.

                              I also thought War of the World was excellent. I agree with Tom doing well in sci fi movies, liked Minority Report too!
