I really liked Harsh Times I got it not knowing a thing about it and I always did like Christian Bale as an actor so I figured it couldn't be that bad . I like the HBO Six Feet Under and one of my favorite characters in that show was Freddy Rodríguez, I have to say I was curious how he would do. I thought Rodríguez held his own with Bale and I am looking forward to seeing him in more films

"Letters From Iwo Jima" was a pretty good film. Interesting to see a battle like this from the Japanese point of view. No English language though. The one thing I didn't like was the washed out color. Made the film look old.

I have got to see that movie. I really like Ken Watanabe, and I love learning about Japanese history. My grandfather was a personal friend of Tojo. It would be interesting to see it from Japan's eyes.

That is amazing that your grandfather knew Tojo. I'll bet he had some interesting stories to tell. You will probably like this movie.

I think POC 3 is better then both 1 & 2 , war broken heart and legion about 2:30 to 2:45 not very long and continously interesting, I dont know if little kids would like to see it

Just watched a very very good movie from HBO Films it was called "Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee".It was a sad and informative flick about the Government and the Indians, I know it's a story that we have heard before but this movie went a little deeper and I found out a few things I wasn't aware of before. If you have HBO I suggest you watch it next time it's on if you don't have HBO get when it comes out on DVD

Published in 1971, Dee Brown's book
I have been trying to forget that book for over 30 years, "into the west" reminded me

The sioux were a minor tribe barely scrapping by hunting buffalo on foot till they got the horse, in a little over 200 years they became a great nation, till we got there
