Actually most reviews are good for Cloverfield, just have to enjoy that kind of movie. I did hear it can make you dizzy if you sit too close, with the cam views and such.

i'm definitely on track w/you on Eastern Promises, The Kingdom, and There Will be More Blood Dan. Most of the time I go out to the theatre is to get out and make something out of a Saturday night.

NightTran, I think Clover Field is supposedly doing well at the box office because of it's appeal to a certain crowd. Believe me it was totally frustrating to watch because of the shooting, and the ending I heard was awful. I wouldn't know. my friend, and I gave each other the, "lets get outta here nod", and we bounced. Truthfully speaking, I would of gone seen Rambo had I any idea Clover was going to be that way.

Anybody who is a horror movie fan would want to see it. The ads make people very curious as well. I would see Rambo first too, so what if he's 61 and pumped full of HGH,lol.

that style of acting made open range, it's a different reality from the glibness

3:10 To Yuma was OK,I thought it was way over hyped.For it to be classed up there with the Unforgiven was very misleading to me and I had high expectations for this movie because of that.IMHO it's not in Unforgivens league, dont get me wrong the movie wasn't horrible it just didn't live up to what I thought it would be.I just couldn't buy Crowe as a Cowboy, I think if they left Crowe out of the movie and moved his #1 henchman to play Crowes part this may have been a better movie

Thanks for the input BR7 as I was worried about those very things. I don't know why they hyped it as the best since Unforgiven, that's just a setup to be disappointed,lol.

I was hoping Crowe nailed it, cause he isn't exactly my favorite. Just watched Eastern Promises, very violent and gory.

don't know if anyone saw Hard Candy, but i tell you it was some serious, and 4 lack of a better word right now, sick flic. you'll know what i mean.

if you want 2 lyao go see meet the spartans. lord i needed that to escape the madness of this quote, unquote, safest city called New York. that i got my $12 worth, and more. made up 4 the last 6, or so.
