not a big fan of it but that is the type of storyline I like. I guess you should see it if you haven't cause hell you might like it. even though I thought the film was crap (sorry I'm talking about Dracula 2000 now) it had one of the more creative approches to the Vampires origins. That pile of $%#@ is worth a watch just for the ending. actually, if you like this sort of story type, there is a great anime called Vampire Hunter D that is both original and entertaining but you gotta like anime. Hope this helps
What is your most hated film of 2004/2005/2006/2007/2008/2009/2010/2011/2012/2013?

I seem to like films a lot of people hate. I really like Constantine, Underworld and Dracula 2000 (called 2001 when it came out in the UK).
With Constantine you couldn't get away from Reeves typical acting which I now come to expect with his fiilms.Comment

haven't seen constantine yet, but my wife bought it. i think i'm stalling because i figure it might be crap. one day maybe. for religious movies, think back to stigmata--that wasn't bad"One day men will look back and say I gave birth to the 20th Century". Jack The Ripper - 1888

LT if only just to see the effects they used in the film it's worth a view. and who knows, you might like it more than I did. Reeves is doing the only thing that works for him in the films he does(the cool Matrix guy act) I always thought that his best role was in Bill and Ted's Excelent Adventure. Imagine the director encouraging him to "just be yourself" for that role. O to be a fly on that meeting wall.Comment

@ DAFT
How could you forget to add JONNY MNEMONIC to the list I think that movie helped him get the part in the MatrixLast edited by BR7; 9 Oct 2005, 10:50 AM.Comment

Speaking of Wil Dafoe, check out Shadow of the Vampire he was amazing playing the lead character of the old silent classic horror film 'Nosferatu' as if he was a real vampire.
