send her to spend the night with friends when you watch 40 yr old virgin
and you might want to prescreen the unrated version before your wife watches it.

Rated PG for battle sequences and frightening moments.

I dunno, I never could get through the books. The movie looks promising though. There have been a string of good Fantasy Movies of late, including the Harry Potter series and of course LOTR.

If you read the book and liked it, you would like the movie. It's the best adaptation of a book I have ever seen.

never read those books. but the new giblets of fire looks neat, so i think i will try it out again. the LOR fellowship was boring at first too to me.

I'm not saying which was a better book or flick, I'm saying that HPATSS was ADAPTED Better. If LOTR was adapted to the same degree, it would have been a 9 hr movie at least!

Lt. and Jmet have it right. Life Aquatic and Napoleon Dynamite are tied I think. I wish I could have the time I spent watching those pieces of garbage back. I could have spent the time in a much more enjoyable way, like having a double root canal done with no anesthetic. Would have been much better. IMHO.
