I watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang round a friends yesterday and i cant reccomend it enough. Lead roles by Robert Downey JR (always a top notch actor ) Val Kilmer ( the man just doesnt age ) and a very sexy Michelle Monaghan. The plot: Downey is a bit of a loser, gets spotted by a casting agent and invited to L.A, gets mixed up in a murder with Kilmer (who is a gay private eye) and tries to solve the case himself. The film isnt a comedy but some scenes are really really funny. Its not an action movie either, but it carries a good pace. A good quality whodunnit. Just made my top 10 films ever.

I assume you watched the R1. I had to import it in when it came out as the R2 was rubbish at the time. The R1 is also uncut and has 15 extra minutes that I had not seen before. It is known as Leon here.

I just watched Stealth and enjoyed it as a popcorn Top Gun type of film. I now have The Island to watch.

Phew! At least you liked my favorite movie! This doesn't mean I'm going to run out and rent Columbo, though. The Av is right after he was hanging upside down and the swat enters his apartment. It's interesting to watch the movie and pay attention to what he's wearing black/white in relation to the lighting, light/dark.

@nwg, I have 2 versions on LD and 3 versions on DVD and I'm thinking of getting a fourth. Depending on the master they used, you get different picture quality.

yeah region 1 version--director's cut. it was about 2 hrs 15 min.
