I guess I'm one of the few who liked Anchorman. I thought it was hilarious, but I also like Will Ferrel. I enjoy his quirkiness. Hostage was a surprisingly good movie. I didn't expect to like it in the least bit but it entertained the heck out of me. I am no Bruce Willis fan by any means.

yep life aquatic sucked, anchorman i havent seen, but will. i like will ferrel too.
i hated hostage, i was expecting something like die hard quality. i might rent state of the union, see how that turns out...

Didn't really hate it, but saw Spanglish the other night. It's just not what you expect from Adam Sandler (perhaps I laughed too much at Big Daddy, Happy Gilmour, Billy Madison and The Wedding Singer, and even Fifty First Dates). I just think he doesn't make the transition from comedy to quasi-drama well - as opposed to Robin Williams, who is extremely versatile.

So, in the end, IMHO, Spanglish wasn't worth the ARccOS (or whatever protected it). But it was a "nice" movie, I guess.

Hero is one of my favourite Asian films. It has two of my favourites Jet Li and Donnie Yen.

Hero - same mould as CTHD and HOFD. Gr8 movie, IMHO. Love those acronyms!!!
