Murray - did not work out - gone - freed up some big $

Alonso and Maxwell - gone- save big bucks on Maxwell who did not play up to his contract, was beat repeatedly and tackled poorly.


The Eagles have been busy with trades, moving up in the draft, extending contracts of good young players, signing experienced players.

As usual I am excited to see how things work out. I think they will now contend this year.

I don't know anything about the kid,but Pederson is a QB quy and if he likes him I like him. Pederson with the Eagles could be the 2nd coming of Big Red Reid/McNabb with Wentz and maybe another great decade of football to come.

Bradford was OK with Daniel and Bethel-Thompson as the other QB;s but soon as Wentz was drafted Beadford has not attended and voluntary camp things and wants to be traded. Daniel got a 3 deal, Wentz is getting a 4 year deal and Bradford only resigned to a 2 year deal and was happy until the draft.

RB Smallwood could be the Eagles steal of the draft, a real street kid with great stats last year but had that intimidating a witness thing in that murder case, in which he was cleared Could be like a Ray Lewis thing, pushing him to do good.

Like I said last season this kid is a beast. After only 7 full games before his injury in week 9 (Eagles had a bye week 8) he got hurt against Dallas in week 9.

One of the budding, young stars on the Eagles' defense, 3rd-round draft pick Jordan Hicks had his stellar 2015 rookie season derailed with a torn pectoral tendon suffered in the team’s Week 9 game at Dallas. At the time of his injury, Hicks led the team with 54 tackles, led the NFL with three fumble recoveries, and led all NFL rookies with seven impact plays (2 INTs, 1 sack, 1 FF and 3 FR).

They are also saying Wentz is learning the playbook quickly.

Can't wait til the season where the Eagles will be huddling, the defense getting more rest and the new offense and defense kicks in.

Well NFL '05 training camps are open and the teams are gettin' ready. I'm a Philadelphia Eagles Fan (born & raised in Philly). I live in New Jersey now but New Jersey has (2) NFL teams that play here but they are both New York teams (Jets & Giants). Crazy Stuff happening with the Eagles, McDougle gets shot, Westbrook is missing, FredEx is in KC and who knows what T.O. is gonna do. Buckhalter is back and who knows how long he is gonna stay in 1 piece. Can McNabb steer the ship to the Super Bowl Again?
