The Tampa Bay game the D was ready. The O needs some more work. Crazy when ur 4th string QB has as many attempts/completions as ur #1 QB, Both were 1/1 and Bethel- Thompson had 7 yds and Bradford only had 3 yds. Daniel looked terrible. Wentz looked OK.

wentz has hairline rib fracture

The Eagles drama continues - Wentz has a rib hairline fracture probably out for the preseason and
will be inactive for the regular season unless another QB gets injured.

I think the Vikes are going to be better this year, won the division

O line will definitely need more work with Lane Johnson 10 game suspension.

On the play Wentz got hurt TB LB Awe was uncovered and came in untouched as Eagle RB Marshall ran by him. Wentz threw to Marshall and got hit by Awe with his arm still up from the throw. Nasty hit to the ribs. Wentz knew the hit was coming but hung in there to make the play.

Wentz came in with a lil over a minute left in 2nd qtr and played 1 more play after the hit with about 5 minutes left in the game after trying a 4th down play with 2 yds to go,

Crazy leaving your QB of the future in with the 2, 3, and 4th O lineman.

Well NFL '05 training camps are open and the teams are gettin' ready. I'm a Philadelphia Eagles Fan (born & raised in Philly). I live in New Jersey now but New Jersey has (2) NFL teams that play here but they are both New York teams (Jets & Giants). Crazy Stuff happening with the Eagles, McDougle gets shot, Westbrook is missing, FredEx is in KC and who knows what T.O. is gonna do. Buckhalter is back and who knows how long he is gonna stay in 1 piece. Can McNabb steer the ship to the Super Bowl Again? We finished the game with a qb we kicked to the curb the day before
Teddy got hurt, got him off the couch and he ends up in the game.

When I heard we traded Bradford it blew my socks off. From what is out there the Eagles were not shopping Bradford but the Vikings kept calling and the deal was finally done, a first round pick and a conditional fourth rounder that can go up to a second rounder.

So the Eagles get 2 picks, and cap space saved from Bradford.

A Great Deal Changes QB Picture

We have the highest paid backup QB in the NFL. Daniel got $21M for a 3 year deal and he has only thrown 77 regular season passes since 2009.

I got a feeling if healthy Wentz will start week 1 if healthy and Daniel remains the backup.

The NFC East looks like it is up for grabs. Wentz is starting this year, should be interesting. Hope the kid stays in 1 piece.

The Eagles are on a youth movement with a buncha rookies. 9 on the 53 man roster, 2 on IR and 10 on the practice squad. I think they will continue to tweak the roster as the year goes on.

No word yet on the Lane Johnson suspension or going to the pokey for Bradham.

For the pool everybody is back with picks in so far but dr and James. Pool points/finances will be kept on the spreadsheet again.
