I say Seahawks scrape past the Steel 32-31. I have been known to be a jinks for picking teams so I hope this helps you BR7. let me know the totals for this season so I can get some pics up.

You guys ready for the 2006 NFL Draft this weekend I know I am what do you think of this mock draft I think it is pretty close

1 TEXANS: Reggie Bush, RB, USC
In recent workouts, Bush has done nothing but cement his stock as the draft's premier talent. Whether the Texans decide to keep him or trade him is still obviously the big question. The recent acquisition of Eric Moulds from the Bills suggests they're gearing up for a run at respectability this season, so that may make some believe they'll trade the rookie for more veteran help. Whatever they do, Bush will almost certainly be the No. 1 pick.

2 SAINTS: D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, Virginia
All signs continue to point to Ferguson here. The don't need a top young QB anymore now that Drew Brees is aboard, and Brees (and veteran running back Deuce McAllister) will need protection. The Saints recently traded veteran offensive tackle Wayne Gandy to Atlanta and let LeCharles Bentley go to Cleveland. That further opens the door for Ferguson, who is NFL-ready and will help 'Nawlins get better in a hurry.

3 TITANS: Matt Leinart, QB, USC
The recent firing of his agent by Leinart certainly casts his draft stock in doubt. Whether it helps him or hinders him on draft day is a big question mark, but what is certain is that the Titans need a new heir apparent at quarterback. Leinart's connections to Tennessee offensive coordinator Norm Chow (also formerly of USC) make this pick an obvious one, and the team's recent lockout of Steve McNair over contract issues only makes their need for a mature young QB more pressing. This might also be Vanderbilt QB Jay Cutler, but Leinart is looking more and more like a Titan.


4 JETS: Jay Cutler, QB, Vanderbilt
What happens with Leinart obviously affects the fate of Culter. There are many who see Cutler as the top arm in this draft, and while he may not be ready yet he has star potential. The Jets obviously need a young heir apparent behind center with Chad Pennington returning. The fact the Jets picked up the No.29 pick in a recent trade means they can grab a top-tier defensive end to replace John Abraham later, but the likes of Cutler will only be around at this point in the proceedings.


5 PACKERS: A.J. Hawk, OLB, Ohio State
The Brett Favre decision (or indecision) obviously casts doubt on what the Pack will do in the draft, and on their offseason in general. That said, it shouldn't keep them from snapping up Hawk. The gritty linebacker not only fills an immediate need in the linebacking corps but he's also the best player available, making him a no-brainer here. He's also as close to a Favre-like leader as there is in this draft.


6 49ers: Vernon Davis, TE, Maryland
The recent trade of former wideout prospect Rashaun Woods only makes this pick more important for the ‘Niners. Only newcomer Antonio Bryant is an established receiving threat on the young rebuilding squad, and Davis would be a perfect fit right now because he can help block for the running game and also help young quarterback Alex Smith look good. It's hard to see Davis fall much further than this considering the monster workouts he has had.


7 RAIDERS: Vince Young, QB, Texas
Young's stock has been all over the map in recent weeks, with some improvement since his disastrous NFL combine. That said, it still doesn't seem likely that he'll go too much higher than this and he does fill a need for the re-grouping Raiders. For now Aaron Brooks holds down the fort and the Raiders can wait for Young, who could be Brooks' understudy. The Raiders also have a tendency to roll the dice on players, making Young an easier choice for them than for other teams.


8 BILLS: Mario Williams, DE, North Carolina State
It's difficult to imagine a talent as good as Williams dropping this low, but it wouldn't be a shocker. Earlier ideas had Oregon's Haloti Ngata landing here, but there's a chance Williams will be available and if he is, he's just too good to pass up. The recent free agent signing of tackle Larry Tripplett also makes an Ngata pick less likely. Williams would fit in perfectly with Buffy's long tradition of elite defenders.


9 LIONS: Haloti Ngata, DT, Oregon
The Lions are awful at stopping the run, and Ngata is the perfect guy to help them with that. Now that their offense has been re-tooled it's time to focus on defense, and if Ngata falls into their laps here they should feel like lottery winners. He hasn't done much moving either way lately, making him a perfect candidate to be a real gem at No.9 . Ngata is the kind of player who can help them right away, which is something Detroit desperately needs. General manager Matt Millen also may be a little reluctant to roll the dice on another offensive prospect.


10 CARDINALS: Winston Justice, OT, USC
It's hard to see Justice going either much higher or much lower than this. His character issues will scare some teams off but his workouts of late have just been too good to ignore. He also fits a clear need for the Cards, who had major trouble with their offensive line in 2005. Justice seems to be the top pick here after Ferguson, and the Cards have the biggest need for him, especially with the arrival of Edgerrin James and the aging of Kurt Warner.


11 RAMS: Michael Huff, DB, Texas
Huff may be one of the true elites likely to still be around at this point, and he fits the Rams to a 'T.' They desperately need help stopping the pass and he is particularly suited to their defense's identity of versatile players. He's also NFL-ready, something the Rams need to bounce back from their disappointment of 2005. His aggression, confidence, and playmaking abilities will be tough to pass on at this point in the pick-off.


12 BROWNS: Kamerion Wimbley, DE, Florida State
The Browns need help on defense above all, especially on the line. Wimbley's stock has been soaring lately and he has the kind of versatility head coach Romeo Crennel loves in his defenders. There's a good chance Cleveland will go with a pure defensive end here, but Crennel's actions since arriving in Browns' camp suggest he's not all that with pure defensive ends. Wimbley has also been connected to the team in recent rumors, so this is a likely pick.


13 RAVENS: Brodrick Bunkley, DT, Florida State
Few players have seen their fortunes rise as quickly as Bunkley's lately. He's now a highly-coveted player and the key is his versatility. He loves to collapse the pocket and that should make him an easy pick for Ravens, who appreciate players with top athleticism and the ability to play several positions. Their most pressing need is actually on the O-line, but they can pick one of those up later in the draft without losing much and won't want to pass on Bunkley.


14 EAGLES: Chad Jackson, WR, Florida
There's plenty of speculation about what the Eagles will do, but Jackson seems to make the most sense for several reasons. Not only do they need a major talent injection at wide receiver with Terrell Owens gone, but Jackson is probably too good to drop much further than this. The team has other options and doesn't really use the deep threat enough, but Jackson could be their new Owens for years to come.


15 BRONCOS (from Falcons): Tamba Hali, DE, Penn State
Denver loves their defensive linemen to be mobile, explosive, and able to switch positions if required. Those are all Hali, who should be a quick and capable replacement for the departed Trevor Pryce. The Broncos moved up in the draft so they could get a player like Hali, who has star potential the kind of speed and power Mike Shanahan usually targets in his ends. Hali is also a high-character guy, which should make him an easy pick for Shanahan.

Part2 of Mock Draft

16 DOLPHINS: Jimmy Williams, DB, Virginia Tech
There are a handful of needs the Dolphins could address here but it's clear they need a top-tier cover man. Williams seems the best choice because his size will keep the Miami secondary from getting overwhelmed, something that happened too much in 2005. Williams also possesses the cover skills to step in right away. The team has also already added some depth in the secondary via free agency, so they might not need a player such as Williams to be ready right away.


17 VIKINGS: Manny Lawson, DE, North Carolina State
Despite all their defensive additions last season, the Vikings still need plenty of help in stopping the opposition. The fact that Lawson can play some linebacker as well as end only adds to his value for the Vikes, who need help in both areas. Lawson has a certain amount of sleeper potential, which makes him a great pick-up at No.17. He has the talent to go even higher.


18 COWBOYS: Davin Joseph, OG, Oklahoma
This pick could also be Miami's Eric Winston, but regardless, the need is clear: The ‘Boys have to get better on the offensive line. Their inability to stop rushers from driving Drew Bledsoe crazy caused regular meltdowns on offense in 2005 and they also had problems opening holes for the run. The fact Joseph is a guard gives him the edge over Winston, who is a tackle.


19 CHARGERS: Jonathan Joseph, CB, South Carolina
The recent trade of Sammy Davis makes it clear that the Chargers are clearing space for more talent in the secondary. It was a major weakness for the team in 2005 and they desperately need to add an NFL-ready talent to help stop the opposition from airing it out on them. Joseph has quietly been climbing most draft boards thanks to his blazing speed and cover sills, and he has a chance to be a starter right away for the Chargers.


20 CHIEFS: Tye Hill, CB, Clemson
The Chiefs have added Lenny Walls in free agency, but he's not exactly the solution they're looking for in the secondary. Hill's track star background and cover skills make him a top prospect and he can especially help the team from getting burned downfield, something that happened far too much in 2005. He's also NFL-ready, which makes a player like him a must for a team trying to win with several aging players.


21 PATRIOTS: Jason Allen, S, Tennessee
Despite their long-standing reputation for being great defensively, the Pats were awful at stopping the pass in 2005. Size in the secondary is a major issue, so Allen is a perfect fit for them. He's also the kind of versatile defender Bill Belichick loves to draft. Allen can play safety as well as corner, and most observers have him landing somewhere around this spot as it is.


22 BRONCOS (from Redskins): Antonio Cromartie, S, Tennessee
With their second first-rounder of the draft the Broncos are a good bet to add some help to their secondary. They still have Champ Bailey anchoring the unit but after him things get as thin as the Denver air. Cromartie is the kind of big, athletic guy Mike Shanahan likes. The Broncos also take their share of risks with players, and so won't likely be scared off by Cromartie's injury history. He has star potential, and would be a nice fit for Denver's system.


23 BUCCANEERS: Marcus McNeill, OT, Auburn
There's no question the Bucs focus is usually on their defense, which is starting to look older than Al Davis. Nevertheless, lately head coach Jon Gruden has acknowledged that offense is also important. That said, the team doesn't have many needs more pressing that the offensive line. McNeill is a perfect fit for a run-first system, which is probably what the Bucs will employ with Cadillac Williams leading the way and allowing young QB Chris Simms to pick his spots.


24 BENGALS: Mathias Kiwanuka, DE, Boston College
Their defense has been improving by leaps and bounds in recent years but the Bengals still lack size up front. That makes a player like Kiwanuka a must, especially since he can also pick up the run, a major need for Cincy. The Bengals can use him to do a better job of pressuring the ball and in their system Kiwanuka could be a real force.


25 GIANTS: Donte Whitner, S, Ohio State
The Giants have already beefed up their secondary significantly in the free agent market and those additions include Sam Madison, a big upgrade for them at cornerback. That said, the team still needs major help stopping the pass and making tackles downfield, and that makes a player like Whitner a must. He's not quite NFL-ready but the additions of those free agents can help ease his transition and give the Giants a versatile talent for years to come.


26 BEARS: Santonio Holmes, WR, Ohio State
It goes without saying that the biggest need the Bears must address this offseason is their passing game. Bringing in veteran QB Brian Griese will help, but he needs a polished deep threat to throw to and Holmes may be that guy. Muhsin Muhammad also needs help, someone to take the pressure off him downfield. Holmes is a very well-rounded and ready receiver. Even if one of youngsters Rex Grossman or Kyle Orton ends up as the team's primary passer, Holmes is the kind of player who can make them look good.


27 PANTHERS: Ernie Sims, LB, Florida State
A top young cornerback might be an option here, but the Panthers are suddenly in definite need of depth at linebacker. With the loss of Will Witherspoon to free agency and the unlikelihood that former Pro Bowler Mark Fields will return, linebacker help becomes a top priority. Sims has seen his stock rise lately and he has the speed and intensity profile the Panthers love in their players. Some question his size, but that is rarely an issue for head coach John Fox.


28 JAGUARS: Marcedes Lewis, TE, UCLA
The Jags love talented young defensive players and may look for some depth on the line or in the linebacking corps. Yet the recent first-round draft trend for them has been to add offensive talent, especially oversized offensive talent (see Byron Leftwich, Matt Jones, Reggie Williams, et al). They need a dependable blocker who can also win jump balls, and Lewis looks like the second-best tight end in the draft after Vernon Davis.


29 JETS (from Broncos): Laurence Maroney, RB, Minnesota
The days of Curtis Martin being a top-tier NFL running back are winding down, and the Jets need an heir apparent. Maroney is a nice fit, as he's a bit of a diamond-in-the-rough who only needs more bulk and experience to become a possible star. Maroney is one of the draft's top sleepers, and if he isn't snapped up here he might be picked right after this spot, by the Colts.


30 COLTS: Joseph Addai, RB, LSU
The party line with Indy this offseason is that with Edgerrin James gone, they're handing the primary running duties to Dominic Rhodes. He's capable and even underrated, but the Colts also realize he may not be the answer in the short- or long-term. Enter Addai, who has the character, work ethic, drive, size, and sneaky speed to be very successful soon. At the very least he can be a third-down guy right away.


31 SEAHAWKS: Ko Simpson, S, South Carolina
The head injury to free safety Ken Hamlin casts his NFL future in some doubt, and one of the Seahawks few weaknesses is making plays in the secondary. The team has added free agent Shaunard Harts as insurance but he's not really a great option if needed. That makes a player like Simpson very appealing. He's a fantastic open-field hitter and fits the Seahawks' desired profile of superior athleticism and a high football IQ. Regardless of what happens with Hamlin, Simpson would be a fine addition to a team that needs him.


32 STEELERS: Ashton Youboty, CB, Ohio State
The loss of free safety Chris Hope only worsens the Steelers' ability to stop the pass. Their blitz-first mentality and deep linebacking corps usually stuffs the opposition, but Troy Polamalu can't stop every pass play that makes it past the pass rush. Youboty is a little raw but he has significant upside and probably wouldn't be exposed in Pittsburgh's blitz-heavy system. He also has the size-athleticism package to give the Steelers a big-coverage element they sorely lack.

BR7 - I hope you are right about the Iggles pickin' Jackson....Reggie Brown ain't bad but Jackson would sure help out. I gotta feelin Reid is gonna go for a lineman though.

With Owens in Dallas now, the 2 Cowboy games are gona be real interesting.
