@tdwest - T.O. didn't listen to the teacher. Now this should be really interesting.
@BR7 - I hope Duce recovers quickly and has a great year. I miss him being with the Eagles. A Pennsy team SuperBowl came close to happening last year. Woulda been nice !!Not registered Go here and click register to join the Digital Digest Forums

They knew he could be a problem (but not with catching balls) when they brought him to Philly. It is said they structured his contract here the way they did so after 2 years he could go and no bonus in the 3rd year (I think it was $5 million).
I don't know what T.O, is trying to do, the other day he ignored the reporters and hung around in the parking lot shootin' hoops, and then the thing the other day with his trainer on the field and not signing autographs that Reid wanted him to do. Everybody knows what happens when ya butt heads with the boss. Shame...Not registered Go here and click register to join the Digital Digest Forums

Eagle Injury Report as of 8-11-05
Injury Report:
Linebacker Greg Richmond will have back surgery Monday to repair the herniated disk that has sidelined him for all of training camp.
Running back Correll Buckhalter is seeing Dr. James Andrews, the specialist in Birmingham, that did the surgery on his knee for a further evaluation. There are no updates at this point.
Wide receiver Reggie Brown suffered a slight groin strain during Thursday morning's practice. He is day-to-day.
Defensive end Jamaal Green sat out Thursday's practice with a foot strain, Reid said he tried to go Wednesday on it and it was still sore.
Defensive tackle Sam Rayburn (hyperextended elbow) did a little work Wednesday. He is getting better, but is not yet ready for live drills. Rayburn will be out a few more days.
Center Jamaal Jackson sat out with his tricep tear. Linebacker Martin Patterson was out with low back pain. Tackle Jon Runyan rested with his concussion. Tackle Tra Thomas is still out with his blood clot.
Cornerback Matt Ware sat out with soreness in his surgically-repaired knee. Defensive tackle Darwin Walker left in the middle of practice with some effects of the flu that has had him sidelined.
Nothing about T.O. because he got sent home for being a bad bou!Not registered Go here and click register to join the Digital Digest Forums

@Derree - ah just enjoy watching them, if they are trying..It's not the win or lose but playing the game. We had some bad years in Philly and I never gave up.
@tdwest - yeah, you got that right...unless the young guns really pick it up...I'm hoping they do.Not registered Go here and click register to join the Digital Digest Forums

@tdwest - been there, done that, went thru the bad times. Sheesh the biggest success the Eagles had in my time was, in '49 and '60 before the SuperBowl and in '81 and 2005. Some lean years in between. And they get to the SuperBowl twice and both times the quarterbacks don't have their best games (Jaworski and McNabb). If I remember Jaworski had 4 interceptions and McNabb had 3 interceptions in the Big Game. The part of SuperBowl XXXIX that got me was that we have one of the premier kickers in the game and Akers did not get a field goal. Ah well next year, man i said that a whole buncha times. Not registered Go here and click register to join the Digital Digest Forums
