Wrongly Classified

I notice that I have joined as a Junior Member. This is obviously due to the fact that tho' I have very junior brain power I am in fact very senior as my ativar shows (85 almost). I have not been able to find how I can change this classification which might confuse other members.

You are a Junior Member as you only have 2 posts so far. The title cannot be changed unless you have a certain number of posts.

I think it is 50. I can't remember, it was a long time ago for me.

Moroni - welcome - please don't take offence at the title system. After a few posts you will have the ability to make a custom user title. Admin may come and tell us.

Welcome to the forum, Moroni. The title "junior member" refers to your status here on this forum, not your actual age or even experience in the topics covered here. Once you get to 50 posts, your title will be changed to "member" - the complete list of user titles can be found here:

Normally, you can't make changes to your user title as a registered member, but I have just changed the option so that all registered members can change their user titles (on this page: http://forum.digital-digest.com/prof...do=editprofile , under the "Custom User Title" section - if you make a mistake, or want to go back to the above ranking system, you can check the "Reset" box when saving changes).

I guess my low post count finally is paying off, after i hit 50 post I could start threads in the Off Topic forum. I think the post count system has given me something to shoot for. Andd the more I post in here the more I seem to learn about things I hadn't even considered exploring on my own. you guys are the brain trust I always turn to when I find myself with a Video problem and you've never let me down. Thanks again
