I remember the ep! One of the greats. Nimoy was a doctor or something who bumped off his missus, that right? And the clock - reversed photo - killed the alibi. The looie at his very very best.

leonard nimoy killed his nurse, and then her boyfreid with drugs to cover it all up. he used disolving sutcher in dr. hydeman after his heart valve replacement. he was also noticed right away that while pretending to be "learning" of her death (nurse) over the phone, the LT. noticed he was able to split his concentration by setting his desk clock at the same time. now who does that? that's one thing that got him.

I do remember the dissolving sutures instead of the other ones, so the patient would die post op so Nimoy could get a better job or something. Great ep.

But there was something about a reversed photo in another ep, wasn't there? Maybe we should rename this thread, Columbo episodes

Two good episodes stand out for me. One set on an army cadet training college, centered around the timing of a cannon being fired, the second about a club of genuises and a gun hidden in an umbrella up a chimney. I had nothing else to do on saturday afternoons.

columbo ran 68-78, alternated with mcmillan and wife, bannecek, and McCloud. "NBC sunday morning mysteries". columbo returned in 89-2003. word has it a new one is under way.
