Intel or AMD?

intel overcharges the general public and small builders so they can
give them away to dell and keep market share

I use a Dell... Intel works perfectly fine. It is a 3-year old PC, runs great. (Dimension 2350) - some upgrades like memory and a DVD burner, and a video card, made my system as good as a new one.

Oh yeah, isn't that an AMD at the very bottom of the chart? Seriously, there is nothing wrong with Pentium, especially in older systems like mine

tom's felt sorry for intel and loaded the bottom with amd cpu's,
not bothering to test any celerons

edit: the benchmark shown is a heavy duty encoder that is multithreaded and
cpu intensive, rewards high torque engines

my old main pc was AMD but choose to get this 3 ghz intel for realtime encoding, but will goback to AMD with next one wheneva it comes. perhaps with Vista
