What's with the sigs?

They seem to appear or not appear randomly. Yes, I know there is a check box to show your sig, but I don't think it works. I think it's like the GNDN button in Star Trek. Any ideas?

The sig is only shown on that person's first post on that page. The checkbox shows your sig for that one post, until you navigate away from it.

I'm not sure. When I posted this: http://forum.digital-digest.com/show...508#post342508 it originally had a sig then disappeared.

that's because you used the 'quick reply'. it doesn't refresh the page. once you've replied, hit refresh, the sig will be gone, and you'll have 1 per page

Oh, Ok. I usually use the quick reply. I just noticed the sigs on some and not on others. I just wanted to show the sig in that particular post.
