i don't know what the heck it's supposed to be about and i don't wanna know don't take it personally TNT. can't expect everyone to like the same movies.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great movie, but not a pleasant movie to watch. (Saving Private Ryan was another movie that's great but unpleasant to watch.) In a nut shell, it's about the system's control over free will and questions how much freedom we REALLY enjoy. The violence is there for effect, and nothing else. People who watch the film for the violence are missing the whole point of the film.

I won't take it personally, we already know we have very different tastes.

Wasn't the violence there just to give the "hospital" an excuse to effect a lobotomy on the sod? They were unpleasant types, and query whether they're brand of free will should endure.

Whether you like it or not, 35 odd years on, the movie still affects you (not like some of Kubrick's other stuff, towit: Eyes Glued to the Ground).

One of my questions was "What is a 15 sided polygon". Apparantly I selected a 12 sided one. I didn't even know they went up that far.
