Ain't great either but let us see how well our government supports our world class athletes now that 2010 are in Vancouver. I knew of one, and his government stipend was less than a person on welfare back in the eighties. If our Gov expects world class results with penny size budgets against fully funded countries (both private and Gov), the results will be pretty well much the same. By the way, I really do care who wins hockey and curling!!Gary D

USA just won gold ! first ever in snow-board-cross-racing or something, fun to watch.
I disagree with you, the Canadian Olympians should get less, in fact dont even feed 'em till after the games. I'll supply the beer and Brats.
Wait a minute, Canada just won Bronze in mens figure skating, USA got that coveted Pewter medal for fourth place.
