I dont know why, but watching curling on tv really chills me out. Something about the way the stone just glides along. Same for indoor bowling.Comment

Was a pretty poor game.
We had the tv setup in the shop at work......we got as much accomplished as Team Canada didComment

You knew Canada was in trouble when they loss to the Swiss.. It really shows that hockey is a team sport not a group of high price individuals. Today's hockey game was the worst game I have ever seen of the "pro" Olympics. It only proves that a group of players playing together for the same purpose can beat "superstar and superrich" individuals. I guess I will start watching something else like TV or a movie. The lack of playing time together was another reason for losing.Gary D

100% agreed.
I don't believe they have the drive of an amateur player in that sort of environment.
Sure they are talented, but I think for the most part they have they attitude of " Oh well, if we lose I go home and make another $300,000 next week "......where the amateur ( or pro depending on terminology ) is at his/her peak. The Olympics is IT for many of them, and the drive to succeed will fill in the gap where the $4 Mil per year Right winger was supposed to be.Comment
