So what's the point of Windows Live Messenger now? I use MSN Messenger, that's fine for me.

i dont think its like gmail which needed invitations to use, i think if one gets the installation file he still can install and use, its not that big thing anyway so.... who cares

perhaps they should send invitations of vista final version

anybody can download it-- but iirc your email account needs to be enabled to use it

Um... what? Is there a big difference between Windows Live Messenger and MSN Messenger? I don't like the normal Windows Messenger - I removed it completely.

DRF if u got confused somwhere live messenger is the next upcoming newer version of msn messenger. so it like msn messenger 8 with new name.
