I am reading a book about the Simpsons right now called Planet Simpson, it seems like a university text book, and I guess in sindication they cut out some rake thwacks...should be 9 of them all together...god I laughed the first time I saw that...sigpic

but i gotta say the simpsons has been going downhill since season 7. i almost completely stopped watching it about 2 years ago-- story lines were crap, bart & lisa are suddenly full of cheap one-liners that no real child would ever understand/say, homer gets a new stupid job each week, etc.

i agree with anonymez. the simpsons have gone down hill a lot! but. some episodes are still good. like the Gay Marriages episode. when homer starts marrying gays. that was pretty funny. and aslong as they keep Ralph in there ill keep watching. the best episodes have him in them. "can you taste the thumbtacks? " Family Guy took it a bit far a few weeks ago. when Stewie beat Brian and then shot him. thats a little cruel for a child...but still hilarious!!! - im watching the Ice Age 2 trailer now. looks pretty funny..Not a member? I love the Simmos (even though I have no DVDs of them). It is one of the things that brings me and my 12 yo son together (Firey hates them though).
My all time fave is Groundskeeper Willie - I will never forget the time he said those lines about "fighting brothers and sisters ... like the English and the Scots ... and the Welsh and the Scots ... and the Japanese and the Scots ............ Damn Scots ... ruined Scotland!!!!"
