I would say it is more of a statement about humanity in general rather than a cartoon. The finger print showing just how small and insignificant we all are in the larger scheme of things. How maybe even, if I dare say, we are like the back ups we create with our softwares. How we are the full lenght feature shrunk to fit on someone elses 4.7Gb disc.....or are we, maybe, a reauthor????.............
