That was the word when ARccOS came out, too. Magical super-discs that no one will ever be able to copy! Deceit is a marvelous marketing tool.

The funnier part is that im sure these companies are still paying for arccos.
Wonder if they realize what they are doing? lets just keep paying these this company with this encryption that anyone can get around as long as they have a computer. Come on give up arccos and realize it wont end there, there are way to many people in the world that have the brains and the time to break into anything, besides its a goal most of the time, from the guys i have known in the past they want to do it ,"just to see if i can be the first to break it", type mentality

The movie Office Space was damn near a documentary in my opinion!

Both sites will allow consumers to copy digital movies for backup use. Those copies will be software protected so they can not be burned onto DVD discs and replayed on DVD players.

What I don't get is the pricing scheme? If all you have to do is host movies somewhere for download by paying customers, why price them the same amount as someone who has to go to a store, buy a physical copy in a nice jacket case, and watch it any time they want on their home theater?
That is the same bewildering pricing scheme that kept me off buying e-books or audiobooks online, if they'll be relatively the same amount as the physical equivalent.
