Maybe it depends on what you are searching for or what site you click on. I never get redirected to a porn site in my searches. I also don't click on a web site link if I think it looks suspicious.
I use firefox with pop up blocker, always have firewall, antivirus and antispyware enabled.

Same here, banner ads are one thing, but those will show in firefox too (I will screenshot a site later)

Looks good Drf, I am one of the minority I guess, I use MSN Explorer, we get along just fine. Maybe ignorance is bliss.

I used to use MSN back when I had MSN dialup (when I got an email address in 5th grade). Not long after we switched to WOW and have had that since.

IMHO there is nothing wrong with IE itself, just the users

For my sins, I just DL'ed IE7B2. It looks OK. I don't have any toolbars/searchbars cramming the screen and never have.

Tabbed browsing is a long time overdue for IE - like 6 years overdue!!!

And, drf, you'd like Star Trek, I think. Even tho it is old and dated and the SFX are nothing compared to today's stuff, it was innovative and literally millions of peeps world-wide are trekkies. Live long and prosper!!!
