Commodore 16 & 64 Games To The PC

Hello.

I used to love playing the games on the Commodore 16 and 64 such as the Mastertronic games such as Big Mac, Mr. Puniverse, Squirm and Finger's Malone etc. There is a web site at: www.c64.com but you can't just install the games as easy as that. I believe I need a Emulator software that involves going through MS-DOS. Is that true and if so, what software do I need exactly?

VDMSound is a good free DOS emulator for Windows 2000 and XP. I use it to run old DOS-only programs. (it lets you use USB and new soundcards, and the computer/program think's it's AdLib or serial etc.)

Call my dad, he still uses his commodore 64 to do his taxes! LOL Bought him a new PC, but I heard he won't use it.

I still have the Commodore 16 and 64 but the data cassette recorders don't work anymore. I love the games on those computers, too. I remember buying a game called Dorks that was fun and a series of games under the title of Burks. Burks wasn't spelt as "Berks". They have strange titles but they were fun to play. Dorks had more to the title but I can't remember the spelling. Monty On The Run was also a great game.
