Sure, sure, you are all up there celebrating and having a great time, and I am down here in MN doing all your work. The company I work for has a call centre in Mississauga. It is kind of strange how when there is a Canadian holiday we have to cover for our Canadian folks, but they wont cover for us!! Aww, well I am just giving you a hard time, I like our neighbors to the north. (sometimes not the French ones) Cheers my neighbors.
I can understand that statement but it is part of our culture to have many unique heritages that are embraced and celebrated!
If you ask a Canadian where he is from, he will say Finland, England, Italy, etc.
It does not matter that it was 4 generations ago , but that is what they will say.
I guess that is why Canadians never consider themselves part of the "melting pot" like our southern neighbours. The government even promotes this by subsidizing cultural agencies with grants and tax breaks.
Missed out on this one, had to work. Happy Turkey day fellow Canuck's!
I had mine on Sunday and watched football all day, now I'm waiting for the USA Thanksgiving to do it all over again!
