Black Friday is the day after the US Thanksgiving (Friday, Nov 24, 2006)

It is the single largest shopping day (by sales) in the US. It generally has the best sale prices of the year on electronics and related items.

Too crowded and dangerous for me.. Most of the stores around here have those 5:00 A.M. sales.. Takes an act of Congress to get me out of bed that early. I shop on line as much as possible too.

I hate rebates, very bad experiences with them, UNLESS you can use them at the check out counter.

My supply of 100 pack CD-R high speed disks is getting low, maybe Santa Claus will remember me, or good prices at Best Buy, or Circuit City after turkey day.
