well, well, well...the question I'm asking here is what''s the name of that particular poll script? I know what a poll is for
I ask this question in case the webmaster of this site would read this message and would be kind to give me the name of that script.

A simple Google search will return several hundred poll scripts for you to use, to include poll.php, Advanced Poll, and more. If you want to use php and mysql, that's one thing. If you want to use flat files, you can use the CutePoll approach.

The scripts are out there. The only difference between the poll used on this site and others is how the poll is presented, both graphically and in terms of complexity and functionality required. You must decide how complex a poll you want, then go find the script. You also have to know some programming to understand the more complex poll script processes.

There are many poll scripts out there that do the same thing being done here on this site that you can find on the Internet -- unless you just have to have THIS particular script -- but do you like it because of the way it looks, or the way it seems to work? Are you going to use it on a web server, or are you wanting to integrate it into a personal web site?

You didn't say in your post what kind of environment you want to use it in, so it's a little hard to give much information. The admin of this site would tell you the same thing, I'm sure, as I'm a webmaster elsewhere running from a Red Hat Linux server.

First of all, thanks for your detailled reply!

I've done a Google search..of course! But I was pleased with the way this one look. Unfortunately, I was told by the administrator that he has written it by himself...so no chance to find it somewhere else I suppose!

It will be integrated into a personal website, I would like it to look nice (this is one of my first criteria)..and ideally being a flash file would be a plus!(so that I can eventualy modify how it looks freely.
