    Message To The Main Man

I need to ask two quick things if you don't mind? How come there's no Spell Check here and how come we can't Copy as in Copy and Paste so that we can at least Paste a message into a Microsoft document so that we can quickly check for spelling errors there?

I hope you don't mind me asking. I must point out, this isn't a complaint.

    Many thanks.

    Darren.

Look at the little abc in the upper right corner of the reply box for your spell check. As for copy, all you need to do is highlight what you want and let your browser copy.

You could use Firefox and you don't even have to click on anything. It works all by itself.

Many thanks for the help. There's no ABC in this forum. I've always been aware that ABC is the Spell Check and for the Copying and Pasting that I've always known how to do. I hope you don't mind me saying. I'm grateful for you saying so encase I never knew those for all you know. There's a problem from Microsoft Works, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Workpad (and Microsoft Workpad also works under Microsoft Word for loading documents). When you write a message in one of those and Copy and Paste, you end-up Pasting a message with scrammbled characters. This mostly happens with words that end with n't. I've found out the Euro currancy sign appears with brackets and other unwanted characters and when you Paste into a Yahoo group, you can sometime post a load of rubbish by accident that looks like a computer program with Microsoft Office mentioned in it. This sort of thing happened here as well and I had to correct things a longer way.

I see no ABC Spell Check in this forum for new posts, quoting or for a quick post.

            Many thanks again.

            Darren.

Many thanks for the help. I have Firefox. I'll give it a go sending messages through that. I keep loading Internet Explorer force of habit.

I like the name of Firefox. It's the same name as the Clint Eastwood film. I've had that Browser for a few months. I keep meanig to default to that one. Sorry if I sound like a player fool at the moment on this topic.

Many thanks there. I'll go and look there.

I feel silly over all this. Here I am knowing quite a lot of this n' that about some technical things on other issues and I'm asking about the Spell Check. Lol.
