Similar to soup's hobby thread, I decided to go with this.

What do you want to do yet or accomplish in life?

<center></center>I didn't want to title it "what do you want to do yet before you die", that sounded too morbid.

I thought this would be an interesting thread. Post your hopes, dreams, future plans, etc.

I mentioned in another thread about wanting to hike the Appalachian Trail someday. The trail passes thru P.A. north of me, and I plan on checking out sections of it this summer, although I understand trail maps are the worst in P.A.

I have hiked certain parts of Caledonia trails before, & spent nights out in the woods, the love for nature is in me, wanting to get away from the work-a-day hustle & bustle. No cell phone, no boss calling, no traffic, no in-laws

Also, I don't believe that a future aspiration of wanting to date a supermodel or celebrity qualifies for this thread! Your post here has to be a realistic, attainable one.

There are so many things I would like to do...here's a start

1. Parachute
2. Write a book
3. Catch the perfect tube
4. Go back to live in Japan
5. Finish college before my kids do
6. Figure out my computer
7. Come in first place in the Trivia game

I always wanted to try Sky Diving but could never find a reason to jump out of a perfectly good Airplane.

I went for SCUBA Diving instead.

I'd like to a GREAT dad to my new daughter... Since my parents were apart before I was like 2 or 3 years old... I don't want her to go through the hell I did going back and forth between parents.

After reading thru, I guess I thought of a few others;

1. I would love to drive a Monster Truck! Y'know, one of the "big" ones. Years ago I had a Dodge Ramcharger w/ 44" TSL Superswampers & I ran over 2 Ford Escorts from the front; It was fun, but not the same as piloting the real thing, I'm sure!





I don't know, attainable or not? I guess not, on my salary! Maybe I should re-title the thread "hopes & dreams"!

2. Retire early - might be possible, have to do it just right.
3. As burrell & others mentioned, travel, see the country/world.
4. Be the best dad I can be - oh wait, I already accomplished that one, just ask my kids!
5. More to follow...
