I let him blabber a bit, it's funny when they are feeding you a line & trying to convince you of something that they know is double talk. At one point I thought he was gonna cry; he just wouldn't get off the phone w/o getting me back into some kind of plan. Finally I grew tired of the silliness, & just said no, not interested; Stunned silence, then some more whimpering - *He's very sorry that I feel that way* *sob*

Don't get me wrong, it still may work out to a good deal, less than a dollar per, but the $7 rate hike all at once was a little hard to stomach, coupled with the fact that the selection at the local store is pretty lame. I need to get off the couch & spend more time outside, anyway..

Time to start cutting wood for the winter!
Yeah BB is trying to make it look like the TA unlimited exchanges at the old prices do not exist anymore. I guess they think people don't talk or chat anymore and that we don't know people were grandfathered because they were "preferred cutomers" . Well now I think BB stands for BigBullsh1tters

And I'm with you katz on the store selection now after doing exchanges @ BB for 10 months and also having NF too, there is not much selection left for me in a BB store except for some new releases as they come out

I decided to meet them in the middle. I changed my plan (on the phone, so my billing cycle would stay the same and I would actually keep the old plan an extra month this way). Instead of staying with the 3 out/unlimited exchanges for a $7.49 increase, I switched to the 2 out/unlimited for a $4.28 increase. This way I will still have 2 new releases in my mailbox when I get home on Tuesdays. I'll give it a try for a few months, I can always cancel later.

Even thoug the selection may suck, returning to store gives faster turn around.

For the last few months I was getting just as many if not more DVDs shipped a month from NF through the mail as I was from BB returning DVDs to a store.

Here are the dates for DVDs shipped from NF to me and back to NF in Aug using the mail

I was soooo glad I had dropped BB and went back to NF before all this transpired. NF is very fast, and I was getting tired of going to the store to drop off the movies..lol. I was also movied-out from so many that I changed my plan from 3at-a-time to 2 at BB, and that's when BB started becoming like a tortoise!!...LMAO, That's why I changed and now pay only $13.99 for 2 at a time with NF, instead of $24.99 TA 3 at-a-time from BB...Don't know what the cost for BB's TA for 2 at-a-time is, didn't know they offered that.

$34.99 for 3 movies at a time is disguting, even with the instore returns. Is BB actively trying to drive customers away??? Guess what.... it worked. Raising prices is one thing, but raising the 3 movie plan from $24.99 to $34.99 in one jump??? I'll just have to wait longer for the new releases from Netflix (which was just about my only problem with them).

                        Fools.
