List some choices for Good "Spooky" Halloween Movies? Not blood, guts & gore, but something that the whole family could enjoy. Maybe stuff like "Halloweentown", etc...

Disney Channel has a whole bunch, I think my sisters liked the movie Twitches

Also, consider the original Dracula, Frankenstein, etc... those were made so long ago so they weren't even scary to me... but they're classics so it might fulfill your purpose.

I guess we aren't really looking for "edge of the seat scary" here, just something to set the mood for the season. Maybe even "funny-scary".

Funny scary how about Casper or Beetlejuice. A few others I thought of that are family scary are The Witches, Hocus Pocus and Adams Family.

Haven't seen most of them so I can't be blamed if they stink,LOL.

The 1930s classic Halloween movies aren't scary, but they are also not violent or anything... due to the "approve/ban" system back then.

Not sure if you'd want to watch those or not though.

If you have ClearPlay or whatever, maybe try Ghostbusters. Everyone knows the song, it's just unfortunate it's from a borderline appropriate movie... but I doubt little kids would get the innuendo in it.

I think tonay was just comparing movies with frightening scenes and such, although with all the weird looking fellers, Star Wars looks like Halloween night now that I think about it,LOL.

I watched it when I was 5 and didn't understand a bit of it. It's one of those movies that you have to be able to get STORIES in movies, IMO
