Hilarious email exchange

Below is a transcript of a hilarious email conversation I had with a certain person that I shall call User X.

Kindly inform me how do I uninstall Vdownloader???
It didn't work for me and there is no uninstall either in the programs list or add or remove programs. I am using XP home.

My response on the same day:

Hi

VDownloader does not have an installer - you "install" the software by extracting the ZIP file to a folder on your hard-drive.

You can simply un-install it by deleting the 3 files that was extracted from the archive (ffmpeg.exe, pthreadGC2.dll and VDownloader.exe).

I've replied telling User X I am not the author of VDownloader (the author's official website link is on the software page, as well as inside the program) and a repost of my earlier reply, as well as a promise to post User X's emails online for all to see (identity removed, of course).

I used a different email address to reply this time so hopefully my response will reach User X. I have given User X until 8th December 2007 to apologize or risk getting the curse reversed on him/herself, which I believe is what happens when you put a curse on someone by mistake

I think on Dec 8, User X needs to be revealed. I'd risk the curse in revealing his identity.

By the way, the threat, stupid as it is, probably constitutes mail fraud/harassment and given it is most likely cross border, comes under the jurisdiction of the Australian Federal Police. Trouble is, X doesn't have a brain and would undoubtedly get off on a "competence" defence.

Not sure there's much point, he/she is not a forum member (I don't think), and the email is a free provider one so it's probably made up.

Dear Whoever-you-are,
You are right, your earlier reply had been caught in the yahoo spam.
I do know to delete the folder that holds vdownloader, but without proper uninstalling, would all the changes made, if any, e.g. to the registry etc be properly cleaned up?

A curse made by mistake NEVER re-bound on the Curse Master who did so with all the best intentions and purpose. Since you did reply, I , however, with the greatest technical difficulty hereby revoke the curse I lay on all of you and your families. However do not go out of the house on the 9th December 2007 between 9pm till 5am on the 1oth December 2007. After that it will be all right.

Thank you for not publicising my email addy. I do not want to be flooded with requests to lay curses on peoples' enemies. It is very inconvenient and I do not want to get rich this way.

BTW, I can also do the reverse, bestowing protection and attaining satisfaction in life. As a matter of fact, I have bestowed PROTECTION on President George W. Bush, the foresighted and brave warrior of the human race. If there was more Presidents like him, the world would forever be saved from the GREATEST EVIL. You know what that is. We are so lucky to have Bush. You guys better change the constitution and give him four more, or better still forty more years.
