What about a crank telephone, some of my family members still used these when I was growing up, no rotary dial, a crank on the side to ring the line, and most everybody had a party line, so your phone would ring different ways (like one short two long), and not all rings on your phone would be for you.
I still have the very first color TV we owned when they came out, it is now a bookcase in my spare bedroom.Comment
