When I author a DVD from my own home movies with DVDit, it doesn't play right on my Apex player. I can't FF greater than 2x or it hangs the player. Also, the stop and resume feature doesn't work.
With a movie I rip and cut down with IFOedit and then write to DVD-R the movie plays fine on the Apex with FF up to 8x and with stop and resume working.
A little experimenting isolates the problem to the VOB files themselves. If I replace the VOB files in a DVDit authored movie with some ripped VOBs from a DVD I bought, the FF and stop resume work fine. So it isn't a .IFO problem.
Any ideas what could be wrong with DVDit's VOBs and how I might fix it so my home movies play properly? I'm stumped.
