new to digital camcorders

i have just bought a sony dcr handycam..makes grt movies but want to burn them onto dvd's..have downloaded one of these "copy dvd's using your cdr drive" things from www.lowpriceweb.net/software..anyone any idea what i do next..pls help this newbie from the UK..thanks

Use the product by Cyberlink. PowerDirector Pro 2.5 is pretty easy for making MiniDVD's. What I like about that software is you can make your Mini-DVD's (DVD Video on CD) and add a version of PowerDVD to the CD so it will autorun on computers with the player loaded on the CD.

I am assuming you do not have a DVD burner by the way.

thanks 4 this..can u then play the cd's on dvd player or just on a pc?
