im trying to re-encode some of the smaller vobs found on dvds, so as to make more bandwidth available for the movie re-encode to 4.37gb. trouble is the dvd2dvd-r software that i use doesnt allow for individual vob re-encoding, so this is where i need help. i need a step by step on how to go from a vob to cce and backagain, also a bitrate calculator that works on small files would be nice.
example:
Minority Report
main movie =?gb something
no problem use dvd2dvd-r
but then i find the menu sequence vob uses 638mb ahhhh!!
so i want to re-encode using cce multipass vbr to get it down to about 200mb.
how?
