Adding PC/MAC files to DVD's

I have a quick question....I am trying to author a DVD disc that calls for me to place a screen saver within the disc so that if you place the disc in a PC-rom /MAC-rom drive you will be able to access a say "installer" which will then install the screen saver. I've never had to add PC/MAC files to a DVD before...so is there anyone that can help me with the process?
