    Drive without software

I ended up buying a Matu****a LF-314 DVR-RAM/-R OEM and it came with absolutely no software. That's not a big suprise. Reading the forum the past few days has helped me figure out what I want to buy for it...but I'm real low on funds.

Burning plain old Data isn't a problem. A quick download from Veritas and my copy of Prassi now supports burning DVD's.

I have home movies I've been working on (I have video editing software that supports authroing VCD's but not DVDs's)

So what was my question? Can anyone tell me if there are any freeware apps that I could use to take my edited AVI's and turn them into VOB's along with generating the IFO's and BUP's.

(Then I'd just burn them to the DVD in the correct folders)

I see that bbMPEG supports creating VOB's...if I convert my AVI's to VOB's, is there a way using IFOedit to generate the other files I need?

    Thanks.
Working...
