    Information needed

Hello. I would like any sources or links to provide me with information in two areas:

#1. How does a VOB file differ from an MPEG2 file? Exacttly what is done to the MPEG2 file to convert it to a VOB?

#2. What is the structure of an IFO file? Are there any papers or specification sheets that direct what they contain and what particular address in which particular information is to be stored in the file?

    Thanks for any help.

    1) A .VOB file is, in fact, an MPEG-2 file. However, it may contain, multiple audiostreams and multiple subtitle streams

    2) I'd suggest you explore the IFOEdit website

Thanks, setarip. IFOEdit directed me to MPUCoder, who will share information for a $5 fee. That's pretty reasonable, I guess, when you consider that the information from the DVD standard developers costs $5,000.
