dvd authoring app gives errors???

im using dvd authoring software and tried to put in chapters into my mpeg file but when i had all the .vob files and what not put into a folder and burned the files using nero 6 and play using sonic cineplayer it gives me " the dvd exchange for copy protection has failed , playback is not possible",??? Ive changed files that were .avi into mpeg , put the chapters in using tmpeg software and used this app , now what is going on and what am i doing wrong??? I hope you guys can help me out plz, thanks.

ps. Im not converting files that i had from my original dvd's , ive downloaded ALOT OF PORN full movies and would love to put these onto dvd-r's to play into a home dvd player.... I was able to put the chapters in , didnt bother using the create menu's yet but it wont play in sonic cineplayer so im defintely sure it wont work in my home dvd player, any suggestions??

ok great now what am i doing wrong??? you say you use this software , so what exactly do you burn onto dvd? Mpeg files right??? Thats what ive been doing , 800-1.3 gig files and when i put in chapters using this software i get the .vob files and everything else in a volume 1 folder and try burning it...what am i doing wrong???

That's exactly my point. What "dvd authoring software" are you using? You haven't identified it by name!

No, the name is "TMPGEnc DVD Author". Saying, "dvd authoring software", could mean ANY one of many DVD authoring programs...


Have you tried playing the burned DVD with a standalone DVD player (connected to a television)?

Have you tried playing the burned DVD on your PC using a different software DVD player, such as WinDVD?


Have you tried playing the DVD "package" that "TMPGEnc DVD Author" created on your hard drive?
