sound problem

i used ulead movie factory 2 to burn on a dvd an avi film but there is just no audio heard. last time when i ve done this the audio stopped in the middle of the film.
i ask you why??
is it got to do anything with the codec??

It could be that when the avi file was created the sound was de-multiplexed. I believe that TMPGEnc allows you to multiplex sound before converting to mpeg2. Its just a suggestion....
