make a vob with a dummy or fake audio

i would like to extract the audio form some vob's and then remux with a fake or dummy one. the reason is that TMPGEnc dvd can be very picky. If the audio is not the same then it wont put them together.
i was thinking can i extract the audio and put in fakes then do all my processing, then put back the real audio. thanks
