ReAuthoring DVDXCOPY backup

Hello,
I made a backup of a DVD (MIB) using DVDXCopy. The original is to scratched to play. The backup will only play on my computer. DVD Shrink can't read the backup. The vob files will play with ATI files player just fine. Question is How can I recreate the DVD just from the vob files??

How can you make a backup if the original is too scratched?

First of all I'll tell you how to remove the scratches from the original.

Get a little metal polish and polish the disk with a soft cloth until the scratches disappear. Then using a clean cloth wipe away the residue and polish.

If the disk doesn't work after that and you are able to rip the VOBs from it then you can use IFOedit to create the necessary IFO's for the movie and then burn.
