DVD FLickering Problem

I have a problem. I made a dvd but when I play it on my dvd player the video flickers for some reason. When I play on m computer dvd player its doesnt. Does anybody know how I can correct this problem

Won't you be good enough to provide some detailed information, such as:

1) What was the source material used for creating the DVD (e.g. videotape, DV camera video, captured television, downloaded video, a commercial DVD, etc.)?

2) What software did you use to create the DVD?

3) What procedures did you use when using the software?

4) What brand of media did you burn to?

(Based on what you've described, I'd speculate that your standalone DVD player either doesn't "like" the media you've used - in which case, you should consider using higher quality media - or the player could benefit from using a DVD/CD cleaning disc. Maxell makes one that retails for approximately $10US)
